Glass C7/C9 Bulbs and Cords Video with Transcript

Hi, this is Shellie over at Christmas Light Source. Thanks for stopping by our C7 and C9 cord and bulb page. You see here I'm holding a green C7, 25-foot cord. The sockets are spaced 12 inches apart, and I'm just going to show you how easy it is to install the light bulbs in this particular set.
Our light bulbs are shipped in boxes of 25. We go ahead and ship the cords and the bulbs separately. We don't pre-install them for you. So that you have a lot of flexibility in how you put your light sets together. We have them in a ton of colors, and we also have them in transparent, opaque, and twinkle. They flash on and off every second. When you're installing your bulbs, you might consider giving them a little backward twist to keep them from cross threading. Let's take a look. These are some of our opaque bulbs, and we're also going to light those up.
These are our C9 cords. As you can see, these are a lot larger. I can put my whole thumb in there with room left over, and our C9 bulbs are almost two inches long. You know, our C7 and C9 cords, they come in 25, 100, and 1000 foot lengths. The 25 and 100-foot lengths, those are all a foot apart. And then we have a lot of variation, all the way from six to 24 inch spacing of those 1000 foot spools. Of course, you know, you'd cut those to be no more than 1000 watts per run, and install your own plugs and ends. Here are some great transparent C9 bulbs. This is a wonderful combination for autumn. Here we've got some opaque bulbs showing. Let's go ahead and light those up.

Oh, great, here are some different hardware items that you can use to have a really professional commercial look to your installation. That was an original shingle tab. This is an all in one clip, an easy snap onto the base of your socket. And that is a snug fit, slide it right underneath your shingle tab, and you can even use it for gutter. There's a great stake. Our commercial stakes are wonderful for running these bulbs up and down your driveways. And here's some great ways to use these wonderful lights.
