Cheesy Herb Ritz Crackers

Need an idea for quick party food? Add this fun recipe to your list of things to do before the party so you and your guests can enjoy the game without standing in the kitchen.

These happy crackers work great for a shower or adult birthday party. They’re lovely with a glass of lemonade or white wine!

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Ritz Cheese BITZ crackers
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Mix
  • 1 Tbsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1 large airtight container or gallon kitchen storage bag

Directions

Pour the crackers into the container or gallon bag. Try not to break them or eat too many on the way in. (Note: Authentic Ritz works best. You can always try a generic brand, we have, but you’ll learn what we have that sometimes the original is best!)

In a bowl combine all the other ingredients and whisk well. Pour the spicy oil over the crackers and seal shut. Refrigerate for 24 hours tossing every 10 minutes the first hour and then several times throughout the day.

A couple of hours before the party, put the crackers on the counter to allow them to come to room temperature before serving.
