Walking through the airport in Minneapolis, MN earlier today I saw these fantastic wine bottle chandeliers and thought that seeing the photos would be as inspirational for you as they were for me.
(We’re headed home from a week in Stevens Point, WI where we had a lovely 1-week Suzuki Viola camp.)
These fixtures were commercially manufactured and have LED light bars lighting up each bottle.
I think these could easily be duplicated with LED or traditional light strings.
I’ve seen a similar fixture created at rise no. 1 in Dallas, TX created with a vintage wooden wine bottle drying rack and mini lights.
I’m also inspired to finally purchase a metal outdoor bottle tree and work on lighting it up with mini lights. I’ll use blackout caps to hide the bulbs exposed between the wine bottles instead of tape.
I sense a project coming on in the next couple of weeks.
What is inspiring you?
