Doctor Who Viewing Party

July 5, 2018

A Doctor Who viewing party is always a great excuse to get together with friends!

A customer recently shared their photos from a Doctor Who-inspired party and we added a few ideas of our own.

Setting the Stage

During the summer, every party should start with time spent out in the backyard as the guests arrive. Make the time sparkle with round bulbs and cords.

Small Union Jacks and these lights would make a great combination.

Here’s fun we had creating a Doctor Who tablescape with Doctor Who Mini-figs and battery lights.

And we collected and put good use to our boy’s collections of sonic screwdrivers!!

A Sonic Screwdriver display is fun for everyone to play “Guess the Doctor.”  (If you don’t have a few sonic screwdrivers they are easily found in toy stores and on Amazon!)

Amy would be disappointed if we didn’t have her Sunflowers. Season 5 Episode 10.

What’s a Doctor Who party without a Dalek?

No party is complete without themed food. You can read more about these projects here:  Food for a Doctor Who Blog Post.

Adipose Dessert. Large and small marshmallows attached with toothpicks and food color markers for the faces.

Fish Sticks and Vanilla Pudding. The 11th Doctor made this meal popular.

Galaxy Jello. A little time and space fun. A mixture of blue jello, sugar sprinkles, white nonpareils, and food glitter make this dessert almost too pretty to eat.

An OOD pizza. How Interesting!

Dalek Pizza…That will be easy to Exterminate!

Cassandra. Nothing like being immortalized on a pizza.

Every Doctor has two hearts…

A future Doctor?

Her version of Rose!
