Easy Wedding Centerpiece Accent

Easy Wedding Centerpiece Accent

There are so many details involved in planning a fairy-tale wedding that a centerpiece accent should be one of your easier projects.

We love a simple lit vase as a table accent. Combine it with other items related to your plan – bromeliads, scatter objects, flowers – to design the perfect tablescape for your guest.

Materials list:

A simple vase. We use this basic $1.79 IKEA VASEN vase as the centerpiece of many of our design projects.

Add a set of battery fairy lights.

Consider putting this project together right before your event.

Turn on the LED lights before you begin – these fairy lights last over 100 hours with each set of 3 AAA batteries so they should last through until the end of your reception or party.

Be sure to load up and test all of your battery light strings before a big event. Also, make sure the flat end of your new batteries are always against the spring when installing them in the boxes.

Gently drop the battery pack into the vase.

Add filler to cover the battery box. We love to use floral moss. Shred would also work.

Keep tucking that moss around the battery pack. Almost completely hidden!

That’s all there is to this 5-minute craft.

So simple but really elegant.

The container project is great not only for wedding receptions but is also perfect for birthday and graduations parties and work great as easy outdoor party accent lights.
