A few times every Season, we hear the question, “How do I install Christmas lights on tile roofs?” Here is a customer project that answers that question!
Happy New Year! Here are some photos of our application. We have clay shingles with no gutters. The clips worked pretty well. We will order some more lights for next season.

- Alternating white and red incandescent C7 replacement bulbs
- 8-foot trunk wrap lights
- Clay Tile All in One Clip – Unfortunately, these clips were used on the house below but have been discontinued. Here are alternatives that are designed to work with tile roofs to consider:
- All in One Clip
- All in One Clip Plus
- 5-inch Christmas light stakes (Note, these will only work with C7 or C9 cords like those shown in this C7 and C9 Bulbs and Cords category.
