Light a Birthday Party!

November 13, 2017

How do I light a birthday party? Do you have birthday lights?

We hear these and similar questions quite often.

It’s easy to add lights to a birthday party.  Here are a few of our favorite ways to makes someone’s special day brighter!

Make a wall of light

We installed a set of curtain lights behind sheers and a great big wall of iridescent streamers in front of the sheers.   Banners round out the look.

Perfect for Sweet 16 or Princess Party.

Add color and glass blocks!

Add pink LED Christmas lights to a glass block to light up the cake stand! Glass blocks make great risers for lanterns and floral arrangements as well!

Under-light sheer fabric

Add traditional white lights under sheer iridescent fabric to add a dreamy quality to the cake table.

Make it Multi!!

Make your multi-color lights multi-purpose and use them for birthdays as well as decorating your Christmas tree.

Create an easy flower garland

Combine your favorite flower with a string of lights and light the backyard for a party. See this article for step-by-step instructions to make a flower garland and choose your faux flower based on the season!

We love pink for Spring and Summer!

White works well for Winter and weddings.

Ping Pong Ball Lights

Combine ping pong balls and your favorite colored light string to create an indoor or outdoor string of party lights.  See step-by-step directions to make ping pong ball lights here.
