What does replaceable mean on your sets? How do these sets compare in size to traditional mini lights? This quick video answers those questions. M5 (also known as mini ice) lights are popular for use on Christmas trees and large city displays. You can find a wide variety of colors in this shape at Christmas Light Source. http://www.christmas-light-source.com/Mini-Ice-M5-LED-Christmas-Lights_c_189.html

This is a set of our M5 replaceable LED light strings. You can see that by replaceable, we are referring to the little diode inside of the lens housing. To change an LED, unplug the set; unscrew the lens. And the lenses are machine tightened so expect that you’ll need to use a firm hand to unscrew those. Remove the diode and install the replacement.

Sets that have pull-out bulbs leave the internal components of the sets vulnerable to the elements. Here’s how the sets look size-wise, compared to a traditional mini light. And, of course, you can replace the fuses in the male plug of each set. You can find this set and other colors under M5 Christmas Lights at Christmas Light Source.
