Summer Luau Lights

Posted on June 14, 2017May 24, 2018

We are loving summer here in Texas and hoping that the thermometer stays below 100 degrees for a few more days. We want to plan those outdoor pool parties, BBQ’s and even our own version of the Hawaiian luau in our own backyards.

Bring out the lawn chairs, a few tiki torches, add a pineapple salad, some roast pork and you can celebrate in great style. As always, don’t forget the lights.

We created this beautiful pink flower and yellow light garland for our luau, based on the directions from the lighted flower garland here. On this garland, we also threaded the leaves from the flowers onto the mini lights. This added that extra tropical flair we were looking for at this event.

We purchased the flowers at our local dollar store and the lights can be found here or here.  This is a simple way to elevate your party atmosphere and really brighten up the festivities.

We hope you are enjoying all your summer evenings with lights.
